“I’ve been called all of these things as many folks struggle to understand exactly what it is that I do. The question should really be: why do your cats do what they do? Why do they go outside of the litterbox? Why do they attack you, your family or other animals in the home? Why do they scratch on everything except the scratching post you just bought? Why do they stay up all night howling or live in a closet, afraid of their own shadow?
What I do, is based on years of experience in homes like yours and working with shelter and rescue cats, is solve these common behavior issues. I’m a cat listener. I take a detailed history, meet your family and watch your cat interact with everyone and everything in their territory. I employ techniques, some traditional and some, I’ve been told, completely off the wall to get the most of them and to give you a deeper understanding of why they act out as they do.
I give radio, television and written press interviews and I also teach classes to shelter volunteers, workers, foster parents, new adopters and veterinary students to help deepen the human-feline bond and pass on the fascination and adoration I have for all things cat.
